Hello Peter, I think that this fix is important enough to be considered for inclusion in the next stable release of Etch.
Doing a regular installation and setup of slony using the Perl script will result in a broken installation where the slaves do not listen to the master. I patched the Etch package on my machine and applied the patch mentioned earlier in this bug report. I would like to propose this very small fix to be included in Etch.
