From shadow NEWS file: shadow-4.0.5 -> shadow-4.0.6 - su: fixed adding of pam_env env variables to enviroment (Martin Schlemmer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>), This was fixed ~half year ago in shadow. So this now fixed in shadow but not in patched shadow 4.0.3 still used in Debian :) In Debian now I don't see any importand reasons for use 4.0.7 :_) kloczek PS.
