Doh.  Reproducing this takes ages...  It may be a problem within cvsps
and not git-cvsimport, but I can't say for sure yet.

I found this line in the output you posted:

Can it be that the was a temporary loss of network connectivity?  Can
you reproduce the problem reliably with the current state of the
imported cvs repo?

PS: I found some CVS repos (huge ones) that cvsps wasn't able to handle.
converting them to git with the parsecvs tool worked out fine.
