It sounds like you might have the vim-latexsuite package installed (or a
local version in your ~/.vim directory). This plugin suite can be
rather invasive and probably shouldn't be installed unless you're making
heavy use of it. It places files in the plugin/ directory of the Vim's
runtimepath, so it is always loaded when starting Vim.
