When using the @validate decorator with non-ASCII unicode strings, Pylons
throws an exception:
exceptions.UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in
position 68: ordinal not in range(128) the form was passed in as an
encoded string, but some data or error messages were unicode strings; the
form should be passed in as a unicode string
Pylons 0.9.6 will fix this issue; See the patch in the upstream subversion
repository:

In the meantime, I have created (and tested) a patch that applies cleanly
against Debian's pylons 0.9.5-5 source package. The patch is attached to
this bug report.
