Hi Kurt,

Indeed, I installed the i386 binaries of Debian (from
netinst-i386.iso), and then tried to use a kernel specific to my
architecture.
This is not amd64, neither amd64-pure.

I will try to remove read-edid, if there isn't strong dependencies on
this package.
