There is already someone who has created a Debian-package for dfu-programmer <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=416436>. The 'problem' at the moment is finding a sponsor (Debian developer who uploads it to the Debian repositories). See <http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg48941.html>. Finding a sponsor is not always easy. I maintain the picprog package for Debian and it has taken a long time ( > 3 years) before someone has sponsered¹ my picprog package.
