Hi, Ok what I did was. Removed i810, changed in xorg.conf from i810 to intel. Then apt-get -t experimental install xserver-xorg-video-intel which was 2.0.0-5 Did restart gdm.
I got some errors. I also tried X -configure and X -config /root/Xorg.conf.new however I got the same errors as before. Here is the output. # X -config /root/xorg.conf.new _XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for inet6 _XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for inet6/cannibal:0 _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for inet6 X Window System Version 1.3.0 Release Date: 19 April 2007 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 1.3 Build Operating System: Linux Debian Current Operating System: Linux cannibal 2.6.20.3 #1 Wed Mar 21 00:48:46 CET 2007 i686 Build Date: 01 June 2007 Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.x.org to make sure that you have the latest version.
