All I know is, python-subversion is one of the few remaining major python packages that don't include support for python-2.5. Stable, unstable, I'm not a Debian maintainer; I haven't touched my apt-sources for a year or more, it's on 'sid', and python-2.5 is part of it. Thanks for your work maintaining the package.
