Can you please try to launch your application with G_SLICE=always-malloc in the env? Please attach a backtrace even if it's ugly, if it shows initvte, perhaps we can find other bugs upstream. Also, please check with a newly created user. Are you using any exotic fonts? -- Loïc Minier
