Weird. Try changing the shebang line of /sbin/dhclient-script to include a -x, and manually run dhclient on your eth0 wheny you've previously explicitly downed it first. The PREINIT case of dhclient-script should be upping the interface. It'd be interesting to see why it's not. regards Andrew
