Package: xfonts-kappa20 Version: 0.396-3 Severity: normal I like this font very much and would like to use it on konsole (a KDE terminal program). I use this
-kappa-fixed-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-* on emacs successfully. But, this font doesn't show up in the list of fonts on konsole, which uses only fixed-width fonts. But Kappa20 is definitely a fixed-width font. I guess the problem is this: http://lists.kde.org/?l=konsole-devel&m=115500814300427&w=2 This comment says, Unfortunately there may be some fonts on your system which actually are fixed-width and could be used but don't show up on the list. This is a problem with the software used to create the fonts, so the people to talk to are the font authors themselves. So, I'm talking to you. :-) Thank you for your attention, Ryo -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfonts-kappa20 depends on: ii xfonts-utils 1:1.0.1-1 X Window System font utility progr xfonts-kappa20 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
