Hello.

I'm writing you because in the last month you've reported or sent a
message to a BTS bug against the mutt package, regarding incorrect
message counts in the IMAP browser, or similar.

There seems to be two issues going on here:

  * one, a bug in the Debian-only maildir-mtime patch, as pointed out
    first by Svend (Thanks!!)

  * second, an upstream bug regarding this issue as well
    (http://dev.mutt.org/trac/ticket/2897)

I think I've fixed the first issue, so I'd like you to test a package
I've prepared, and report back whether it fixes your bug or not. This
will allow me to know wether all bugs where symptoms of the same bug, or
there's something else still lying around.

The package can be found here (there are i386 and amd64 binaries):

  http://people.debian.org/~adeodato/tmp/2007-07-16/mutt

To report back, please fill out the form below: ;-)

Bug#421468: mutt: imap_check_subscribed doesn't seem to work anymore

  Provided package fixes?: [ ] YES [ ] NO

Bug#428734: New Message Count Incorrect in Mailbox Browser (IMAP)

  Provided package fixes?: [ ] YES [ ] NO

(*) Svend, you reported the bug against 1.5.13-1.1, but nobody else
has reported the version in etch as not working, and your
problem is identical to that reported in 1.5.16-2. Are you sure
you're running 1.5.13-1.1? If so, and you're in stable, the
provided package will not be appropriate for your system.
(Backports.org has 1.5.16, be sure not to be running that as
        well.)

Bug#432148: mutt: change-folder fails to offer IMAP folders with new mail

  Provided package fixes?: [ ] YES [ ] NO

Bug#433275: mutt: buffy list shows "new" mail for "old"

=== Any other comments? ===

Thanks for your cooperation!
