Package: listen
Version: 0.4.3-2
Severity: important
Hi,
To begin with, it's great to see such awesome software packaged! Thanks.
Now the drill:
listen fails to start on locale enviroment pt_BR.utf-8, as seen on
ubuntu bug #63344 . Aparently this is both python related(i.e. the software does
not fall back to pt enviroment or en) and a problem with the translation
(although i could not find wich package holds this problematic translation).
It gives me the following exit message:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ listen

ValueError: plural forms expression error, maybe unbalanced parenthesis

As in the Ubuntu bugreport, a "$ unset LANGUAGE && export LC_ALL=C"
did the trick, and it works under the C lang enviroment. Needles to say
this is not a great workaround.
I don't think this is a bug in locales. And maybe it has something
to do with listen's bug, #384895.
