-- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-1-k7 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Dear maintainers, after upgrading to the last kernel-version (from 2.6.17-1-amd64-k8 to 2.6.17-2-amd64) it is no more possible , to activate the broadcom wirelesscard "AeroOne54g" which is normally the kernel-driver "bcm43xx". The module itself can be loaded, but refuses to load the firmware "bcm43xx_microcode5.fw". I installed firmware new, with no success. The firmware is installed below /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware, and additionally /lib/firmware (as it does by bcm43xx-fwcutter) Please let me know, if you need more information. Hint: In the former kernel it worked fine and there was nothing else changed ! -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
