I've been unable to reproduce this problem. I'll break down what I think
it is, and then ask for some more information.

Looking at the message you are receiving in return to this call, it
looks like nspluginwrapper cannot determine the binary format of the
plugin. It works this out so that, when creating the calling stub, it
knows which architecture to start the RPC chain for. Which, assuming
it's the debian-multimedia flashplugin-mozilla package, would be i386.

This could mean the nspluginwrapper package you have installed has no
i386 runtime. Which wouldn't make sense. So I have some detail requests,
if you please!

NB: If for some reason it's working for you now, please tell me and I'll
close the bug.

1. Paste the output of:
   dpkg -l bash
I want to see if this is a lingering bashism.

2. Please post the output of:
   dpkg -L nspluginwrapper

3. Please post the output of:
   file /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so

4. Please post the output of:
   ldd /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so

I think that's everything. I'll try and work it out from there.

Kind regards,
rob.
