Package: amule Version: 2.1.3-3+b1 Severity: minor I had previously setup amule with 8 and 32 kbit/s for UL and DL. I changed the DL bandwidth to be 128, but noticed after a while that amule stalled around the same total DL bandwidth as previously.
In the Preferences, I discovered the bandwidth had been reduced back to 32. I figured I had to put at least 16 for UL to be able to have 128 as DL. Why is that and why do I had to notice the problem and guess the solution by myself? --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-2-686 Debian Release: lenny/sid 990 testing www.debian-multimedia.org 990 testing ftp.nerim.net 502 stable ftp.nerim.net 501 unstable ftp.nerim.net 500 unstable ftp.nerim.net 500 stable security.debian.org 500 stable ftp.nerim.net 200 unstable www.debian-multimedia.org 200 stable www.debian-multimedia.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ======================================-+-==================== amule-common (= 2.1.3-3) | 2.1.3-3 libc6 (>= 2.5-5) | 2.6-2 libcrypto++6 | 5.5-3 libgcc1 (>= 1:4.2-20070516) | 1:4.2-20070712-1 libstdc++6 (>= 4.2-20070516) | 4.2-20070712-1 libwxbase2.6-0 (>= 2.6.3.2.1.5) | 2.6.3.2.1.5 libwxgtk2.6-0 (>= 2.6.3.2.1.5) | 2.6.3.2.1.5 zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.1) | 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-5 -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] OpenPGP 0xD9D50D8A
