This box is still sarge. I just thought I bring it to your attention. lvm2 2.02.06-4 libdevmapper1.02 2:1.02.05-2.1 through 2:1.02.12-1 dmsetup 2:1.02.05-2.1 through 2:1.02.12-1 lvm2 used to work. I've kept the box upgraded consistently, but it hadn't been rebooted in quite a while, When the power went out and the box rebooted lvm stopped working. presumably something lvm related.
