Thanks for reporting this however I am a bit curious why
this is the case. aterm needs libgl1-mesa-dev on build time
which then pull libgl1-mesa-glx and links against it:

libGL.so.1 => /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 (0xb79cf000)So libgl1-mesage-glx should be automatically in Depends because of shlips in control. I don't want to just add it to the Depends line since this should just workaround the real problem here. This is not related to transparency and I have no idea how you could produce this bug since you have to install libafterimage0 with aterm which depends on libgl1-mesa-glx | libgl1.
