Strange. No lines should be uncommented there, and the default in that
case is apt-get.

This is how the configuration file part looks in the sources:
# APTCOMMAND=/usr/bin/apt-get
# APTCOMMAND=/usr/bin/aptitude
# APTCOMMAND=/usr/bin/apt-file

And I have at least not implemented a rewrite function. :)
