Ah, thanks for your investigation.  I should suggest that making a
backup of user files which might be caused a -mule/-nomule problem
when migrating to -mule from -nomule.

I'm not interested in fixing this -nomule bug.  I guess that this
bug will be closed when xemacs21-nomule is removed from testing/unstable.

If you find a problem with xemacs21-mule, please file a bug report
as another bug.
