Shane,
 Debian provides a tool called 'update-pciids' to update this file from
sourceforge. If you want to see the package updated to contain a new
version in a stable release, you will need to ask the maintainers of
that package:
 Debian pciutils Maintainers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
