Hi there,
I am sending this bug report on behalf of Ganneff :)
The problem is that some packages were uploaded that missed upstream
URL, author and/or copyright information.
dh-make-perl should either bail out, or display BIG FAT warning when
this info cannot be reliably extracted.
I am not sure what to do more so that maintainer checks debian/copyright
more.
The goal is to lessen the rejection rate for dh-make-perl-made packages
