I think you should file a bug against the ttf-dejavu package, telling its maintainer you got dangling links for these files. I'd suggest to also give him the result of "grep ttf-dejavu /var/log/dpkg.log". Also check there is not problem with the installed package with "debsums ttf-dejavu" (you may need to install the debsums package), or if you don't want to install debsums, you can do roughly the same check with "cd /; md5sum -c /var/lib/dpkg/info/ttf-dejavu.md5sums" If it tells you files are missing, then there is a problem that is probably not related to the ttf-dejavu package but rather something that happened on your system. > I take it I wasn't the only one who > had the problem.
