Hello, I can confirm this bug and also confirm that the proposed patch really fixed the bug for me. I have a costumer using wbinfo_group.pl under Sarge and it works flawlessly out-of-the-box, no need to modify anything.
Yesterday I was replicating the same setup using Etch and came across this bug. It took me a while to came to this bug report, only after I tried to debug it a lot and eliminate all the possibilities of a local config error. After making the modification proposed by the bug reporter I got my setup correctly working under Etch. Could this fix be considered for a stable update on Etch r2 ?
