Yes, running "dhclient eth0" works fine.
sight, it doesn't look like a network-manager specific problem. Do you have a special configuration on your dhcp server?
My DHCP Server actually is an AVM Fritz!Box Fon WLAN 7170 with no special modifications regarding DHCP. NetworkManager also worked fine some time ago. But it's broken for about a month now.
