I've forwarded your bug report to sourceforge [1], where a xine developer has written this: Date: 2007-06-21 07:27 Sender: dgp85 Logged In: YES user_id=60011 Originator: NO FLAC files needs seekpoints in the metadata to be seekable. The metaflac command can be used both to inquiry and to create the seek table. and Date: 2007-06-04 16:10 Sender: dgp85 Logged In: YES user_id=60011 Originator: NO That particular sample seems to be truncated, please try with some other FLAC file, and make sure it has valid seekpoints. Can you confirm this analysis? Can this bug be closed, or can you provide another, non-broken flac file where you are unable to seek?
