Hi, I was pondering submitting a bug against anacron, but apparently someone has beaten me to it by four years. With software suspend on Linux becoming more reliable and widespread, I really believe this bug should be fixed. Anacron hasn't run for a month here, even though I use my computer every day (at various times of the day, but generally not at 7:30 AM).
/usr/share/doc/hibernate/SCRIPTLET-API.gz describes a plausible way of implementing that feature.
