Package: rubygems Version: 0.9.4-4 Severity: normal
I installed fxruby 1.6.11 using rubygems. Then I tried to run one of the fox examples and got the following error ruby /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/fxruby-1.6.11/examples/inputs.rb /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/fxruby-1.6.11/examples/inputs.rb:3:in `require': no such file to load -- fox16 (LoadError) from /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/fxruby-1.6.11/examples/inputs.rb:3 Adding a require 'rubygems' before the require 'fox16' fixed the problem. It would however be nice if one has nothing to patch before running examples. Thanks for your word and I hope we will find some day a good solution to mix apt-get and ruby gems seamlessly. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_CH, LC_CTYPE=de_CH (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages rubygems depends on: ii libgems-ruby1.8 0.9.4-4 libraries to use RubyGems, a packa ii ruby1.8 1.8.6.36-1 Interpreter of object-oriented scr rubygems recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
