Package: kernel-package
Version: 10.067

The postinst scripts in packages created by make-kpkg in this version of
kernel-package fail to honour the 'image_in_boot' setting in the
/etc/kernel-img.conf config file. Symlinks are silently created in /
rather than in /boot, resulting in the system not booting the correct
kernel.

The kernel-img.conf(5) manpage says:
"The old, and very confusing, name image_in_boot is deprecated, since it is
the symbolic link that is usually being relocated."

This implies that it should still be supported, even if it would be better
to update the config file to use the new value.

At a minimum, at some point in the sequence there should be an error telling
the user to update their config file to use the new keyword. Silently doing
the wrong thing is very unhelpful.
