Package: webalizer Severity: wishlist I developed an extension for The Webalizer, called 'webalizer-asn', that supports AS number (Autonomous System Number) lookups to generate additional statistics based on the origin of the hosts that have visited a website. (See http://www.init7.net/webalizer_asn/ for additional information.)
It would be nice if that code could be added to the webalizer Debian package. The user sould be able to enable/disable the additional features, which include downloading the AS number database on a regular basis. This could be done via /etc/defaults/webalizer. The ASN features should probably be disabled by default, because mainly high-traffic sites and ISPs will be interested in those features.
