I am therefore reassigning the bug to this package. For the libgphoto2-2 maintainer: The permission on the device nodes are not correct. There should be 0664 instead of 0666. This doesn't give the right to access to the USB device (you need write access to do ioctls), but gives the right to read the product ID, vendor ID and such kind of details. -- .''`.
