Hi, Looking at #288759, I saw comments to the effect that busybox had previously excluded insmod due to bug 85642. That bug is ancient history though. After the release, should it ever happen, I too would like to request that insmod be put back in, because it's much more useful to have it than not for initrd images. I recompiled the .deb, and it's working fine on my 2.6.8 system.
