Package: approx Version: 2.9.0 Hi,
I do a lot of Debian work offline. Using an APT proxy could help me a lot, since I could use the proxy's cache to download packages I need. However, this doesn't work very well with approx. If a file is not up to date, approx tries to check if a more up to date version exists. If I'm offline, this fails, and approx returns a 404 error. I could incrase $interval, but then approx would never check for more up-to-date Package lists. It would be great if it was possible to tell approx "don't return a 404 error if you cannot check if a file is up-to-date. Just return the existing file." A configuration option could be added for that. -- | Lucas Nussbaum | [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.lucas-nussbaum.net/ | | jabber: [EMAIL PROTECTED] GPG: 1024D/023B3F4F | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
