Hello, Actually, I am still experiencing the problem. I have upgraded to the latest version in Debian, I think. Still, 'mplayer' doesn't treat failure to open audio or video as an error on my system, but rather tries to continue (see output below). Do I need to enable such a feature in a configuration file?
