1. This also happen with ascii characters. This is not only for Japanese characters. 2. It seems that whenever this symptom happens, the dropdown list for suggestion is appearing. 3. Similar symptom also happens for a text box in a page, but it is very rare. The probability to freeze is much higher in the search toolbox.
