Attaching the xorg.conf file that i used. I can't remove the mga card today ( 
would be too much disruption for my work.). 
But I think I can try that tomorrow.

May I see your xorg.conf when MGA is disabled? I want to make sure there
is no dangerous line, for instance "Screen 0 Rightof 1", RandR drivers
generally don't like these. Even with MGA disabled, it could cause ATI
6.7.192 to crash.

If it even crashes when the whole dual-board config is disabled, the
next step would be to remove the MGA board from the machine so that the
server does not even try to look at it, I'll understand if you can't do
this :)
