Hi, I just stumbled upon this issue, because I could not select a cipher and therefore could not connect to our VPN gateway. The issue can be a worked around by linking /bin/awk to /bin/awk or alike, but that does not seem to be a good solution.
Note: At least on gateways where a fixed cipher is specified, the connection will *fail* due to this issue. I use the version from sid.
