Package: fai-client Version: 3.2.1 Severity: wishlist
AFAICS it is not possible to use the softupdate feature without specifying FAI_CONFIG_SRC, right? I'm looking for a smart solution how to update/work with the local chroot system (created via fai dirinstall) without having to rebuild it again and again but also without setting up a subversion/nfs/... server. Any suggestions what could be the best solution for this? Does a patch which would allow disabling need for FAI_CONFIG_SRC sound reasonable to you? Or would an option "chrootupdate" (which justs makes sure the packages inside the chroot are up2date and executes the according config/scripts/$CLASS/* stuff and so on) make more sense? regards, -mika- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
