Package: krb5-config Version: 1.17 On every install of krb5-config, I am prompted to give the names of the Kerberos servers for my realm, even though I have Kerberos SRV records published in DNS and am running with a debconf priority of 'high'. There is another debconf question that asks whether the SRV records are present, but this question is only asked at "low" priority and defaults to "no".
I believe it would be appropriate for krb5-config to autodetect the presence of SRV records and set the default value of dns_for_default to "yes" in this case, permitting users in such realms to install krb5-config without having to answer any questions (since that's the point of the SRV records, after all :). -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
