I checked your example file and both latex and latex2html give errors (but no infinite loops). Please note that the .tex file contains references to files like /home/jbatista/fe/FisEstat.aux which is unaccessible on a standard system. Please give another example input file. Also, please report back anyway so that we can mark the bug accordingly, e.g., if the problem is already solved for you with the new latex in Debian. Thanks, Roland
