Sorry for the delay, Brice, your request was caught up in a hardware change. I now have xserver-xorg-video-ati/experimental 1:6.7.194-1 installed and it seems to be working fine. Note that this problem was never reproducible at will so it is hard to know when it goes away. I haven't seen it for a while, but if it should show up again, I will let you know.
