Package: coreutils Version: 5.97-5.4 Followup-For: Bug #175994 hi,
Just realised something about id: when i run 'id' and 'id myusername', as same user, i do not get the same output, the former lacks LDAP info. IMO they should return the same info. they used to, i think they still do in etch *runs to check* they sure do. the etch box i just checked has coreutils 5.97-5.3. so something changed between -5.3 and -5.4 that borked it. please fix this, it had me confused for a while since i use it to debug ldap lookups, and there might be other things that use this to look up group memberships. thanks for your time, simon -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-1 Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages coreutils depends on: ii libacl1 2.2.45-1 Access control list shared library ii libc6 2.6.1-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libselinux1 2.0.15-2+b1 SELinux shared libraries coreutils recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
