Hi Jan, I can't see that the bug is fixed, but then it may be a user error. I also didn't try with a non-UTF-8 locale.
I've been struggling with getting PSI to show chinese glyphs well, but it often displays only an empty box instead of the glyph I want, whereas at least kbookmarkmanager and kaddressbook display all of them nicely, and GTK apps and OpenOffice.org display correctly, too. The latter fact leads me to believe that I have all required fonts, and also added the required substitution using qtconfig-* (that was necessary because Qt didn't do it right, initially). I have "ar pl shanheisun uni" as the substitution for a Big5 font which comes as a standard (that's imho a mistake, to begin with). So far, PSI seems to be the only application I tried that doesn't do it correctly. I'm using the default Etch version of psi and have the following packages installed: ii psi 0.10-2 Jabber client using Qt ii psi-translatio 1.9 Translations for psi I have the following language settings: $ env|grep -E '(LANG|LC_)' LC_MESSAGES=en_US.utf8 LC_COLLATE=en_US.utf8 LANG=de_DE.utf8 LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 LC_TIME=en_US.utf8 Best, --Toni++ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
