Package: getmail4 Version: 4.7.6-2 Severity: wishlist I'd like to have getmail directly invoke /usr/lib/dovecot/imap or "ssh server /usr/lib/dovecot/imap" to get an IMAP connection. getmail should have a retriever or retriever option to invoke a command and use that as the connection.
