I experienced the same problem for xmms-kde (I am running a selfcompiled one). Xmms was off when I upgraded to recent testing version. When I tried to start xmms (either from xmms-kde or from a console) it segfaulted. As reported earlier for wmxmms, restarting xmms-kde fixed the segfault and since then I have no problems anymore.
