"cause the package to be removed" is exactly what we
(ja-trans maintainer and me) would like to do.

Historically ja-trans has remained on Debian just to keep Japanese
translation for only net-tools. Because this translation is merged
at now, ja-trans becomes obsolete. Please see the bugs of ja-trans
also.
