Hello, Just a quick note. I quite agree with you. This might be fixed in a newer upstream version, I am not sure. If not, it would be implemented on top of the newer, C++ version rather than the current C code. Therefore either way, it's unlikely that this will be fixed until a new upstream version is uploaded (See bug #326671).
