I tried hard to reproduce this and managed twice, but I still haven't identified the cause. It seems like some obscure issue with gdnc, but it is a separate, unrelated bug. A simple but annoying workaround is to kill the Cynthiune process and launch the app again. One more thing -- please apply the attached patch after the big one; I think with this change everything should be OK. Now Cynthiune *seems* to open and play flac files, but as I said I can't really confirm without sound. > http://gnu.ethz.ch/debian/preferences/ In GNUmakefile.preamble do not define ADDITIONAL_INSTALL_DIRS (set it to an empty string or just comment it). Also, in Modules' GNUmakefile's replace $(GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_APPLICATION_SUPPORT) with $(GNUSTEP_LIBRARY). This just fixes the build; I'll look more carefully tomorrow why it doesn't run as expected. (BTW, isn't Jeff, the author of Preferences, a DD?) > http://gnu.ethz.ch/debian/talksoup/ What's the problem here? It builds and the app seems to run fine. (You can delete debian/talksoup.app.links. With GNUstep Make 2.0 they're unnecessary.) Happy GNUstepping.
