When sorting you can choose whether you like to have formats including hyperlinks moved or not. (This has been around for a while but maybe not in version 1.4.3).
To use that feature either use the sort dialog or set the appropriate sort preference in the preference window. So this "bug" is definitely fixed in 1.6.x and later.
